Curiosity is a fact of human behaviour and some people deal with it better than others. The fact of the matter is this; because you have been curious you have found this page.
Now that you are here, read it carefully and take in what it is I am going to explain to you so that you can fully understand something that your mind may struggle to comprehend..
Just so that you understand how this could affect you I need to tell you about a life changing event that happened to me a few years back. This is not only a TRUE STORY but one that many of you may be able to relate to.
My Story
15 years ago I had one of my best friends (Mark) working for me, he had just left college and needed some work… so we took him on as we needed help at that time.
We ran a small Hotel/Bar and he was a fully qualified heating and air conditioning engineer so had all the credentials for being a barman! (Sorry, my humour is terrible)
We were sitting and talking one evening about a proposition he had been offered to start a business with a friend but he needed £1500 to buy a small piece of equipment to get started. (Small electronic electrical testing machine)
We did not need to convince him (much) to grasp the opportunity with both hands and run with it. His only hurdle was the money and how he was going to get his hands on £1500 to get it all started.
He spoke to his bank manager and thankfully he also could also see good reason for him to start this business venture and appreciated what he was going to have to do to get things going. Within hours the money was made available in his account and it was time to start.
Within weeks of buying his first testing machine things started to roll in the right direction and his hours sat at the dinning table in his mothers house started to pay dividends.
Two years down the line things were looking pretty good. He had managed to buy out his partner and was going it alone and employing a couple of people to do the physical work whilst he spent time talking to new businesses and prospective clients.
Progression carried him along and his business developed into something that I can only describe as being “fruitful”. He was now employing 16 people and his turnover was exceeding the half million marker and he was looking to expand the business further.
Things just went from strength to strength and two years ago he was awarded an Enterprise Award for his initiative within the market he was in by the local Business Bureau in Gloucestershire.
12 months ago I was reading an article in a local news publication about this same person. He had sold his business to a PLC company (For an undisclosed £m sum) yet retaining all of the assets he had purchased along the way; two story office block on a new industrial park, stately building in the centre of the next town etc.

Just the rental income alone from these two buildings would keep most people in an extremely comfortable lifestyle without having to touch any of the money he achieved from the sale of the business.
What happened next was that I received a call mid last year from Mark and taking that I didn’t hear from him that regularly I guessed it may be important. We spoke for about 40minutes and then suddenly he came out with this;
Very thoughtful of him to call and say this, but what happens will explain WHY this has any relevance to the story.
He trained as a heating and ventilation engineer, and became a business man in a completely different field. He proved that with very little knowledge, a small amount of training and development and a bucket full of desire to succeed that you can do what you want to do.
To close this chapter I had to cease my vocation due to a major car accident where I broke my back. The lower vertebrae (L3, L4 & L5) were all split, the discs had completely shattered into my nervous system and all functions from the waist down were paralyzed.
I had no feeling from just below my chest so could not even feel if I needed to go for a pee let alone know if I had been for one. My stay in Hospital lasted just over 5 months and cost in the region of £138,000 including the reconstructive surgery.
It took about 3 years to fully recover and by the time I finished my rehabilitation I decided a change in direction was needed so started looking around at different businesses.…. This was a strange time but through out I just knew one thing, and that was I needed to make money to survive.
I spent the next few years in the building industry covering anything from Kitchen & Bathroom Installation to flooring and plastering.
I had always had this habit of following my nose and finding something that worked yet nothing could have prepared anyone for the next part.

Due to the recession starting last year it was obvious that things were becoming difficult for many businesses. Two of my regular clients had folded their businesses which left me in pretty much the same situation, so I had to fold mine.
This left a bitter taste but I knew that I had to do something as there were THREE MOUTHS that needed feeding and this would not happen by itself.
With an amazing array of credit card bills, loans, vehicle finance, mortgage payments etc, things were becoming very difficult. The income my partner was bringing in did not meet close to half the bills and we were going backwards…... VERY FAST!
Fortunately I had a good friend who arrived like a knight in shinning armour and introduced me to someone at the later end of “08”. This person was introduced to me as being “Millionaire.” What came out of the initial few hours was I had been told a complete pack of lies as he was in fact, a Multi-Millionaire. (and all SELF MADE)
All the thoughts about Mark and his business kept rolling through my mind and here I was looking at another self made millionaire (multi at that) and finding out what it was he did and how he did it.
What was shared with me during the course of the following few hours knocked the wind completely out of my sails and numb to the degree of speechlessness. NOW, If you ask any of my friends to describe me they would say; “Always talking about something.”
I know myself that to stun me you need to be either more beautiful than my wife (which is pretty difficult) or proven successful.
Nothing apart from me would or could change my directional path. What he was doing was purely Simple and what he offered me was a chance to put this right and be trained to do exactly what it was he was doing, and for virtually no investment what so ever. (Talk about a complete shock to the system)
Take into account I knew absolutely nothing about computers and the only one thing I could relate to was I knew there was one vital ingredient that would help me succeed in any business venture….

Within 3 weeks I noticed my ability to do things I had never even dreamed of and found them not only great fun but also profit making. By week seven I was on track, a full time income and I was only working THREE hours a day. It was AMAZING how suddenly from no income at all I had over £5,300 for ONE MONTHS WORK and I could now spend some “quality” time with my family and also work from home.
